OB Implication on the Insider Movie

Based on what we saw in the insider movie we realized that the mean idea is the term whistleblower and this term simply means “Is an employee who reports illegal activities of the employer”, which indicates that the company might be at risk “Reputational-legal” and after reading about that term I found that: Various acts and statutes afford protection to the whistle blower against employer retaliation. Special whistle blower acts also protect specific groups such as federal government employees and members of the military. Collectively these are called whistle blower laws. From the investor's perspective, a credible whistle blower may signal that there are serious management issues at a firm which could create significant liabilities. The whistle blower, however, is typically protected even if the allegation proves false, as long as the whistle blower believed the reported activity was illegal. Whistle blower claims that come to light must therefore be evaluated with care.

The movie also involved very important aspects like “Ethics – Fear – Corruption” we saw how big Firms “The Tobacco Firm” Can Control the police, FBI at this point the term fear takes place because what is the feeling when you know that even the police won’t protect you, and this for sure make us know why there might be a corruption in the governmental system and how some use power to gain money or more control even they might use it to controls people freedom of speech.

The Term Ethics took a big portion from my attention in the movie, is it true that seeking for money or power you can ignore the your ethics, let’s think about it tobacco companies owner not smoking! Is that strange here the meaning of ethics pretty clear, even though they know people will get harmed of it they still want to produce it and sell not only this they trying to increase the percentage of nicotine to get people more attached to it which defiantly will lead to more...
