Will be discussing on how internal and external factors can affect the four functions of management in a business. Within Home Depot Organization, technology, globalization, ethics, innovation, and diversity are main factors that every large company needs to have if they plan on being successful and competitive with other competitors in the same field. If the main factor is not use, Home Depot will discover that they would not be as strong as what they demonstrated to be.

Managers must deal with many factors that will hit the four functions of management. Both internal and external have a huge influence on the organizing, planning, leading, and control.   Internal can be factors of supplies to their employees who the manager is mainly in charge of.  Plans for Store events can be an impact of supplies, since someone needs to be in control of the ordering and organizing of necessary employees to get ready for the store events.  If a supervisor or manager does not have any control of their people they will have no respect for them. Nonetheless, to say if a manager is too uncaring, this will result in the loss of personnel due to employees choosing to quit because of the treatment.   The biggest thing in a good leader is working alongside and being a leader to his or her employees while making sure any problems of the business are always taken care of.   If workers are not productive, managers should remove worker or workers to discipline if they are not performing to the standards of the business in a professional matter.  The External factor can also have a huge influence on the managers and how successfully they are running the business. The Home Depot operates by cheap prices and good customer service.
