Sometimes words can kill someone’s confidence through physical and emotional abuse. At such a young age, you can see the fearless expression of Sara who is determined to move on with her life. Although the unexpected happened, she is about to do the right thing by getting help before it’s too late. Sam, Sara’s ex-boyfriend would call her a “slut or whore” whenever he sees her with some other guy. This shows how easily jealous Sam really is. Sam would also physical abuse Sara by grabbing her breasts really hard or bruise her arm. These violent actions are just going to get worse if Sara does nothing about it. Although she cried and begged him to stop, after hearing him say, “You are my angel. I’d die for you,” it made her feel special. That led to her being able to bear the pain she was in and kept the relationship going. Sam would also say other words that will bring Sara’s confidence down, like “stupid, bitch, psycho”.
