Allen wrench- A tool consisting of an L-shaped bar with a hexagonal head, used to turn screws with hexagonal sockets.

Box-end Wrench- A wrench with a closed loop (a socket) that fits over a nut or bolt head.

Combination wrench- A double-ended tool with one end being like an open-end wrench or open-ended spanner, and the other end being like a box-end wrench.

Dial Caliper- An instrument for measuring thicknesses and internal or external diameters inaccessible to a scale.

Hacksaw- A saw consisting of a tough, fine-toothed blade stretched taut in a frame, used for cutting metal.

Hand-treading Die- A die which may be solid, adjustable, or spring adjustable, or a self-opening die head, used to produce an external thread on a part.

Impact Sockets- Sockets, when paired with a ratcheting tool, are designed to tighten or loosen nuts and bolts. Impact sockets were introduced as an improvement over standard sockets for use in high-impact situations requiring a lot of torque.

Impact Wrench- A screwdriving tool that uses a discontinuous drive clutch and compressed air to achieve torque.

Micrometer- A device for measuring very small distances, objects, or angles, especially one based on the rotation of a finely threaded screw, as in relation to a microscope.

Needlenose Pliers- Pliers with long slender jaws used for grasping small or thin objects .

Open-end Wrench- A wrench having fixed, open jaws on one or both ends.

Phillips Screwdriver- A screwdriver with four intersecting perpendicular points that corresponds to Phillips screws.

Press- To act on with steady force or weight; push steadily against; squeeze; to depress or touch

Rivet- A metal bolt or pin having a head on one end, inserted through aligned holes in the pieces to be joined and then hammered on the plain end so as to form a second head.
