GUIDELINES FOR THE REVIEW OF ARTICLES/CASES/WHITE PAPERS

1. Start with discussion of the main theoretical and/or conceptual framework of the article

2. If needed, refer to the original citations referenced in the article and evaluate whether the article covered the subject matter as referenced or nor (to what extent). Scale the resulting view on appropriate Likert scale.

3. State the objectives of the Case as articulated by the author(s)

4. Was the presentation of the Case clear/ambiguous/poor? Avoid explaining the Case as presented by the Author(s).

5. Does/Do the Case(s) discussed in the article fit the theoretical/conceptual framework as identified by the Author(s)?

6. If the above answer is yes, have the Case(s) description and analysis fulfilled the objectives stated by the Author(s)? identify the gab.

7. Rate your views, after reading thoroughly the article, on the following lines:

a. Did you comprehend the relation b/w the case’s conceptual framework and the contents of this course? Rate this on Likert scale.

b. Did the article add more knowledge to you over the course contents? In what way?

c. Did the article enable you to materialize the concepts and the framework as related to this article? Rate this on Likert scale.

8. Have you studied the reference list and identified the range of years addressed by the references? Comment on this point with whatever you feel about the recentness of the referencing.

9. Give some lessons learned from the study of this case/article/white paper.
