ESSAY #2

Mass production uses less time to produce goods, its cheaper to make the products in large quantities, having to pay for storage and you only need to train your employees to be efficient in running one or two stations. The main problem is if you have too many employees missing at any given time they are only trained to work one or two stations.

Mass production works with forecasting based of need to produce and how much to produce. This isn’t a accurate way to make products because you are guessing on how much you will need for that time period. So you can either over estimate and have to pay for storage or under estimate and miss out on money. This is a very unreliable way to do this. If you over estimate you will see that you wasted money because you will have to pay for storage, you may have to reduce the price of the product if it sits in storage too long as well as a waste of man power because you won’t get the full amount for the man power that was put into making the product. With these three key strategies customers find themselves happier and willing to come back and continue to do...
