Living in a Big City is Better Than Living in a Small Town

Living in a big city in comparison to living in a small town has so many different opinions from people. There are so many people that love the lifestyle of the convenience of the city and then there are those love the easy simple life with out all the distractions. Either way both lifestyles has its good and bad and what it comes down to what kind of person you are and what you need in your life to satisfy you.

I was raised in a small town and graduated with a class of 43, then I moved on to the big city after graduation. It was a little scary at first but then I fell in love with the city. There is so much more to do, more people to interact with and more job opportunities, simply there is more of EVERYTHING. Living in big cities, we do not have to concern about electricity and running water supplies as they are universally accessible there (TOEFL, 2011). The hospitals are in bigger numbers and always have better doctors and the education for young children is better with more opportunities for the child to learn more. They simply just have more for the children to get into like more school clubs and sports.

In my experience from being raised in a small town, it seemed that us kids had very little to do and would get into trouble more mostly because we were bored. The school I went to had very few sports and the academics were very slim. It felt more like we were only learning the basics and didn’t have the choices to learn more or prepare us...
