Hometown Deli Record Keeping

Record keeping at Hometown Deli has been the same since 1952. My grandfather has kept any and all records in his memory. All business transactions were completed by my grandfather and nothing really had changed because my grandfather kept the deli in old fashioned ways. Everything in the deli needs updating. The deli can use a 20th century feeling in it and a 20th century technology update.

With a 20th century technology update, Hometown Deli will be able to collect customer information and build a customer database in the restaurant. This is important for record keeping because without customers, the deli will fail and shut down.

So, looking at what is available on the market for current technologies, I have chosen some hardware and software that would benefit the record keeping in the restaurant.

Explanation of Hardware Components

The HP 15” Touch All-In-One POS System is a very important piece of hardware in the deli. To even start keeping track of what is going in and out of the deli, we will need the right hardware to help do so. This compact, all-in-one system offers flexibility and style with the reliability and performance needed to run the deli.

An HP laptop is of importance to keep up with all records on the premises of the deli. Without the laptop, the deli has less likely of a chance with having a good technology update.
