War

When given this problematical assignment of whether war is necessary or not and when I did some investigations on it, I noticed a great number of conflicting opinions. If we look at human history, we will find that it is punctuated by wars that engulfed every single continent. Hence, war may be just defined as a part of humans’ nature, a part of human’s primitiveness. Many scholars, professors and philosophers believe that humanity has this propensity of warfare and that it grew out of a deep source within human nature. Still, humans are subject of variations and are extremely dynamic and evolve with a high frequency, the thing that may push them to change their perception of warfare and escape these unrelenting, vicious and blood-spattered conflicts. The problem with human nature is its completely abstract facets. Its analysis is complicated though, but it is possible to make few murky hypotheses about whether war is necessary or not. War’s complexity clearly emerges if we look at the distinct roles that constitute it: spectators, victims, survivors among many others reveal at the same time the theatrical and tragic aspects of war. The us-and-the-enemy concept overwhelms the humans’ psychology. Concerning my point of view, I feel that war is necessary as long as it leads to change, and my arguments are going to be as the following: men’s drives find their expression in wars.

.History proved throughout time that every new generation is instinctually aggressive and finds its expression in different kinds of war. Time witnessed that wars are inevitable. That is to say that some communities and tribes view war as an inextricable rooted aspect of their culture. Sometimes war is the only way by which a great number of life situations are to be handled.
