Background Information

SoxBoxis a specialty retailer which offers a product mix of women’s clothing accessories and specialty items, which include socks, pantyhose, stockings, shapewear and handbags and fills a gap in a highly-fragmented clothing accessories marketplace. ThisMontreal-based company that was originally established in 1982 by Carrie Garbarino, but was sold to Caroline Deitcher in 2004and continues tooperate out of a small boutique located on Greene Avenue in Westmount offering high-end hosiery and legwear to their clients. In addition to their product offerings, what differentiates the boutique from larger department stores and retailers is that they provide a high level of personalizedservicethat is tailoredto the client’s needs helping them to properly select the right item for the fit and the occasion.
