Not everyone knows a lot about the black holes, even with the development of astronomy science. They are one of mysteries in the universe. “Not even light can escape a black hole's grip, but gas falling into a black hole can heat up and become an intense source of X-rays, at temperatures up to 1,000 times hotter than the sun.” says Jon Miller, an assistant professor of astronomy at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Many people form their views of the black holes that they are deep and dense, and not even light can escape their grip. As far as I am concerned, things sometimes go opposite as you expect, such as the black holes may not be as dark as you think. "If you have binoculars, you might be able to make out a smudge, which would be the nearest galaxies," says Jon Miller.

Frankly speaking, we do not know as much as some planets in the universe, such as our earth, the moon and sun. We can only have a picture and basic concept with formulas in the computer instead of seeing them through the telescope, like what we find about the black holes. Astronomy classes only tell us what scientists observe and calculate, not everything hanging overhead us. So we are tiny in the universe, much smaller in books and people’s words. So we should spare every effort to explore the universe in order to know more about ourselves and the space we live in. What is more, protecting our planer is always the priority in human being’s agenda!
