A. Executive Summary

The Aquaskipper, distributed by China Flame Group Limited, is a recreational sporting good that allows the user to travel along the surface of water. The focus of this business plan is to export this product from China and distribute throughout the United States. The bulk of the product will be distributed in geographic locations with several bodies of water that are prime for the Aquaskipper. The main business opportunity that will be exploited is the uniqueness of the Aquaskipper itself. It is currently not manufactured or sold by any retailer in America. By being the first group to import the Aquaskipper in large quantities, it will be easy to capture and steal a significant market segment of the sporting goods category. It is expected that contracts with at least three major sporting goods stores will maintain the bulk of sales, by supplying large distributors fewer small and independently owned sporting goods suppliers will need to be contracted with.

The emphasis of this business plan is heavy promotion. Currently Water Birds, like the Aquaskipper, are very scare and unpopular. The most important step is to increase product and brand recognition. Through live demonstrations, television commercials, magazine ads, and use at sporting rental facilities, projected product recognition will jump from 1% to 15% of the target segments.
