Journal,

We have left England not too long ago. One-hundred five men are on the vessel with me, and we are heading toward the New world. We have enough food and water to last us the entire trip, or so we hope. By my calculations, I am sure that we will arrive in the New World by April twenty fourth. I believe that I am perfect for leading our colony to success. But, time will tell. By my new calculations, we should see land by April twenty ninth.

Journal,

We are ahead of schedule, and have spotted land. I believe that the area of land that we are going to settle in is called “Virginia”. I am unsure, but will go along with what I have heard. I cannot begin to believe that we are going to be opening the letter from King James I soon, and starting a new colony! I have settled on Tuttle...
