The Human Resource Department at Hancock Manufacturing is dedicated to recruiting and selecting a diverse team that can provide the successful overall direction of our company. Technology is any tool, operating method, or equipment, which is designed to make work more efficient (DeCenzo, 2007). Technology has had many changes over the past 20 years in the human resources department that benefits almost every aspect of the day-to-day duties at Hancock Manufacturing. The new technology makes this department an integrated communication center. Electronic communications helps Hancock develop ways of staying in touch with clients who are nation and worldwide. Networking systems are extremely beneficial to Hancock HRM because of the vast number of employees and supplies that go through the doors each day. Hancock Manufacturing can link multiple computers, fax machines, printers, copiers, and telephones together so information can be shared, passed, drawn, copied, and saved more easily; this has made HRM run more smoothly.
