In our world today it seems time is short. People have fewer hours available to accomplish everyday tasks; this is true in most everyone’s life. We often don’t have a lot to spend a lot of time with our friends and family due to distance or scheduling. With all the access to the internet and social media that is available to everyone, we are able to keep in contact with each other. As social media is a good thing for our busy life’s but it also becomes a hindrance because we don’t have the personal contact and that can lead to the lack of having the personal relationship that you had with the person and the friendship can fade or you’re your family relationship can become weakened. Social media and our personal relationships can be affected in a positive and negative way. People being in constantan contact or lack of personal contact.

Facebook is a very popular social media site that is used by the young and old. Facebook is used to keep in contact with family members who are too far away to keep in daily contact with on the phone and it’s a faster communication then traditional mail. One advantage of having Facebook would be to keep up with events that maybe coming such as Birthdays or a community events and seeing what others are up to. The disadvantage with being on Facebook would be that it can become very addicting and all you would do is play the games and post and repost comments photos and other forms of media to your page for others to see. While your Facebook addiction is in active mode, then you will be more likely not to accomplish all simple daily task that needs to be completed or even just being an active person and being involved with friends and developing you social skills that you are not receiving from being addicted to the media.
