Jury nullification must never happen. If this does take place it's intended to send a message to the criminal justice process that they think what the law stated is wrong. When jury nullification happens it's the jury taking the law into their own hands and overriding the whole criminal justice process. Jury nullification should never need to take place. Present are 2 disputes and intervals during which jury nullification prevails in its most notable form. In the mid-1900s’ when the problem of ethnicity and equal rights were running rampant all through the southern states of the United States jury nullification was happening every day. Black people might have been charged with offenses which they either performed or didn't commit, on many occasions they didn't and if they did it was since the laws and regulations were unjust. As soon as they were set to be on court trial the jury would convict them since the whole jury was made up of White people who either agreed with the laws and regulations or were frightened to oppose them. At the opposite end of this era, when White people were to be on court trial for offenses against Black people they were instantly found not guilty depending mostly on the same reasons which the Black people were found guilty. One more era and location which jury nullification would be happening would be presently in places that minority groups think they are going through brutalization and treated unfairly by the law enforcement.
