Emma stone is our leading lady in the production. She will be playing a role that has her having panic disorder. Panic disorder is when a person has a sudden and repeated attack of fear that lasts for more than a couple of minutes. This problem is referred to as a panic attack and it makes the person look like they are having a heart attack. Panic attacks are defined by a fear of losing control even when there is no real danger. These attacks can happen at any time, and most people fear when the next attack will happen. Panic disorder often begins in the late teens or early adulthood, but not everyone who has panic attacks will develop panic disorder. Some signs of panic disorder are sudden and repeated attacks of fear, a feeling of being out of control during a panic attack, an intense worry about when the next attack

!2will happen, a fear or the person won't go to the places an attack as occurred before for them, and physical symptoms during an attack, such as a pounding heart, sweating, breathing problems, weakness or feeling lightheaded, hot and cold feelings, numb or tingly hands, chest pain, or stomach problems. Now just because you have a few of these yourself remember this is fear that causes these things and not everyone has panic disorder from having a few of these. Nothing really causes panic disorder. It sometimes runs in the family, but that's probably the only explanation so far on what or how panic disorder came about. Panic disorder is generally treated with psychotherapy, which entails cognitive behavior therapy which teaches the person different ways of thinking, behaving, and reacting to situations that help them feel less anxious and fearful, or it is treated with medication, which is anti-anxiety medication and antidepressants. Sometimes both are used if it is really bad. Now that we have a little background of panic disorder, Emma Stone would make a perfect candidate because she knows what it is like to have panic attacks.
