01/24/2013 | 18:00 to 22:00 | Subject - JM states “She is ready for discharge and is very appreciative for all the help and listening.” She states “she will miss the time spent together talking but must move on in the healing and stages of break up to completely heal.” She misses RM but not the fighting and problems they had. She states “the kids are doing much better with school and seeing the ex-in-laws.” RM has not been calling as much and is moving on with his life. She wishes him the best in life. She is not ready to date yet but will still go out with friends and family. She plans to keep exercising and trying to be healthier. She has mediation scheduled in a few weeks. Objective- JM is thinking more clearly and is emotionally calmer today. She is scheduled to have mediation in a few weeks and does want to continue with the divorce and is a peace with the idea. The kids are calmer and have talked with RM about what they are going to do for spring break. RM bought the children bus tickets which are round trip with set dates. JM is ok with this. JM is moving forward with her life and is satisfied with her life at this time. Assessment- We will not meet again. The family is adjusting to the new situation. 1. JM is as risk for Caregiver role Strain as evidence by Becoming a new single parent household. 2. The family is at risk for family compromised coping as evidence by loss of other adult in house. 3. JM at risk for powerlessness as evidence by becoming overwhelmed with being a new single parent.Plan- JM will allow kids to see their dad. JM state less stress with the...
