II. Expectations prior to attending based on what you have heard.

What do you expect to see, hear, experience, etc.?

I was expecting lots of the Jewish Elite buzzing around chattering amongst themselves. From the outward appearance I am expecting more of a recreational center than anything. I assume the facility is only for Jews or that the facility will at least charge more for non-Jews. I am expecting Jewish centered activities. I would presume that with all the press about Muslim-Jew relations that I will at least be asked for my identification, seeing that the recent Muslim conspiracist have been black. I am expecting lots of dradles (Jewish head covers) on old Jewish men. I expect that since it is an education center there will be computers and a library somewhere in the building.

III. Description of what you experienced?

There was a black receptionist when I entered, the center was very clean. The Star of David was everywhere. Anyone can become a member of the center. Membership rates are decided by age, school enrollment, locale, family orientation (what type of family you are in, single with child, couple, etc.), marital status, employment type (police have a discount). They teach Yoga and Karate. The center also offers facial waxing, massage therapy, babysitting, various sports clinics, various camps, and men’s basketball leagues. There were three employees and eight black visitors. The center houses a gymnasium, a pool, fitness rooms, seminar rooms, but surprisingly no library or computers.
