In America today health care is a very important service that touches the lives of millions on a daily basis. The health care industry does more for the Americans than just providing care. There are certain laws that must be followed; there are certain ways on how the insurance company should be billed, there are many preventive services that could be offered. At the same time, health care organization is task with being competitive in the marker in order to draw in more patients and to keep the ones they already have.

Health insurance provides financial and medical treatment for an individual when he/she is sick or disabled. Recently health insurance is also provided to people who are already suffering from disease like diabetes. "Health is wealth" and it is felt so by many once they lose their health or become very ill. It is not possible to foot the hospital bills by every sick person, as today medical care is becoming increasingly expensive. Hence health insurance is important for everyone to have. Health insurance provides monetary as well as psychological strength when affected by illness and it brings back an individual to normal life.

With these challenges, most health care providers find different ways and options to operate more efficiently. In this paper, I will focus on critical issues that the healthcare environment is facing today by incorporating some of the studies in our text. Having health insurance is important because coverage helps people get timely medical care and improves their lives and health. Some may believe that people always have access to medical care because they can always go to an emergency room.
