Today I will be giving you all a deeper look into the inner workings of myself.

Specific Purpose (What do you want your audience to take away from your speech):

Hopefully by the end of this speech you'll be able to walk away with a better understanding of me and how I work.

INTRODUCTION

Attention Getter (quote, phrase, etc):

Bone Thugs and Harmony said this in their 2007 hit "I Tried" featuring Akon. The lyrics ring true in this situation as I had a difficult time constructing this speech. This was a challenge for me seeing that I'm naturally a person that prefers to generate information inwardly.

Introduction of Main Points (quick description of objects, in order as you will discuss in the body):

Object 1: My first object is: cell phone

This represents: my love of entertainment

Object 2: My second object is: a brush

This represents: a modified microphone

Object 3: My third object is: a bag

This represents: my introverted nature

In order to help me outwardly generate this information, I've brought with me 3 objects that I feel correctly represent both my inner and outer self.

BODY

First Main Point (Object): As I mentioned before, the object that I think most represents me is my phone.

Support for main point 1: More often than not when I'm doing anything from brushing my teeth to walking to class, I'll be listening to music with my headphones in.
