The Bible has been one of the most difficult, appealing, and interesting books there has ever been. We will speak of three main topics in this paper when/who wrote the bible, what book(s) speaks of when Jesus was Crucified, and the many languages that the bible has been translated to. The bible is one of the longest and most graphic books I have ever read. It has two parts to the bible which is the Old Testament and the New Testament. All together there is 66 books in the bible which meaning there is 39 books in the Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament. These two testaments have different names the old is called Hebrew Scriptures and the new is called Christian Greek scriptures. I have learned so much in the 6 weeks of taking this class and I am so excited that I chose this facility to take up my studies to get a shot at this course. People today are still trying to figure what’s the whole truth and what is over exaggerated about the bible.

First, I will talk a little about when/who wrote the bible. The Bible was written over a period of 1,500 years, from around 1450 B.C. This was at the same time of Moses. It didn’t end until about 100 A.D. after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Bible was written by over 40 different authors from all walks of life: shepherds, farmers, tent-makers, physicians, fishermen, priests, philosophers and kings. Despite these differences in occupation and the span of years it took to write it, the Bible is an extremely cohesive and unified book. Moses whom wrote the first five books of the bible called them Pentateuch.

Secondly, I will talk about the book(s) that speaks of Jesus death. The books of the Gospel talk about the life and death of Jesus. There are four: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Paul clearly states that the Gospel that he preached is that Jesus died according to the...
