QUESTION 1
What is your assessment of the financial performance of Horniman Horticulture.
Generally the revenue grew steadily from FY 2002 to 2005 at an average of 8.3% (refer to table 1 for the calculation) this was derived from the Exhibit 1 from the Projected Horniman Horticulture Financial Summary. Indeed it is an impressive growth for Horniman Horticulture, against the Benchmark across the horticulture producers which is at negative (-1.8%). The performance indicating that the company is able to on upward trend and this probably contributed by Bob Brown characteristic “people person” – likeable by both internal & external stakeholders thus, this enable Horniman Holticulture to be on right track for success in the coming years.
