The globalization tends to minimize the world and seems like a small village. The developed communication and technology accelerate the globalizing. Today, globalization is inevitable for the both developing and developed countries and recently used as one of strongest world sanctions on some countries.

The globalization as concept is very wide and covered many sectors, however, the general ideas are that crossing borders, mixed cultures, and languages, but beyond that ideas there are so many trade transactions and business going on. One of the obvious company that works globally in efficient way is MacDonald’s. That fast food chain located in most of the countries in the world except 10 countries such as Syria and North Korea. MacDonald’s offered most likely the same menu, taste, and price around the world, in addition, they try to adjust in different culture, for example, offered Halal food.

When I was young I usually spent the summer time in Syria, because I have relatives whom live there from my mother side, every time we go there we brought foodstuff, video games, and other sample things to use it during the summer. The reason of that not because they do not have food, but because they have only the local brand, which was low in quality and not tasty. I remembered the cars were so old and there are few kind of models and even there were no dealership to buy a brand new car such as BMW or Ford. At that time I was thinking the reason is because the people and government are poor and they don’t have money, but that was wrong thinking. Syria was anti globalization and was not allowed to imports form outside the countries, especially from the west, even there were no commercial banks until 10 years ago. The last few years ago every time I visited, I saw there is a big changing and year after year I began feel the progress and that difference between other countries began to diminish.
