Business Ethics

A business need maintain good long term customers relationships with their customers it is utmost important for the business needs and model be based on good business ethics. The trustworthiness of a business, its services and the way the business deals with its customers is a part of business ethics. Business Ethics can be defined as written and unwritten codes of principle and values that govern decisions and actions with a company. In the business culture, business ethics will be benchmark for determining the difference between good and bad decision and the way the business make those decisions. This research paper will be elaborating on the few ethical issues within today’s business that effect the community and organization.

There are many ethical issues that can affect or have been affecting the community or the organization. The few ethical issues affecting the community and the organization in today’s environment is the laying off employees, teacher, or city employees. This does have a great deal of impact on the community and the organization. Laying of f the employees will hurt the community as there will be less money being spent in community. Laying off good teacher also impact the education of the growing population, hence there will be less importance given to education, whereas city employees are the backbone of the community, and some of don’t still know what they do, but city employees such as police officer, laying off these city employees can have a great deal of impact on the community and businesses around, as the crimes are meant to gradually increase, it is also lead to rationing imposed on many important city services. Outsourcing jobs another ethical issue, some companies outsource jobs or the entire manufacturing line to a different countries. This is can be debated being ethical or not.
