Dear Sir/Madam

I am writing to enquire if you have any vacancies for work experience. I am currently studying a BTEC Health and Social Care Level 2 Course at City College Coventry. Part of this course requires me to undertake 60 hours of work experience.

I am a friendly and helpful person who is always happy to turn my hand to most tasks and I am considered to be an extremely likeable person. I am punctual, hard - working and I have good organisational skills.

I am presently a member of the Talisman Theatre in Kenilworth where I am volunteering as a barman. I am also working as a paid barman at Leamington Tennis Club (Guy’s Cliffe Road). I am a member of the City of Coventry Corps Of Drums Marching Band where I play the snare drum and where I have the responsibility of undertaking the role as a Corporal. I am also the Vice- Chairman of the Student Council at my College.

Through the work experience I would be hoping to gain good communication skills with people who either work in the Health and Social Care Setting or are patients in the setting. I am also hoping to learn about the policies and the procedures regarding the day to day running of the care home.
