COMMUNITY ASSESSMENT PAPER

Upload one copy to the “Drop Box” in eCampus and provide Professor withan additional hard copy. The graded hard copy will be returned to you.

The community of interest will be selected by thestudent and must be approved by the Professor. Each student will select a differentcommunity. There will be no duplication of community selection. The paper should be 8 pages in length (includingcover and reference page) and must be supported by current, relevant scholarly literature.Your focus should be on research studies that deal with health promotion,prevention and improvement in lifestyles. Search the nursing literature first,then go to the other databases available on the Monmouth University websitethrough EBSCO. No study published before 2007 can be used. At least threestudies must be reported and a copy of each research study must be handed inwith the paper. You should also use the HealthyPeople 2020 report, the CDC website, and official community websites tosupport your findings. Do NOT use Wikipedia.

The assessment should include the following:
