Coca-Cola is one of the most persistent and well-loved brands in history. It is one of the longest surviving brands, and thus considered among the most successful companies ever. The reason in part of this, is their strong advertising and marketing. Coca-Cola has always relied in advertising to promote and market their brand, and this is why they are always on top of their game, after having been in the market for more than a century!  Coca-Cola advertising has indeed greatly affected American pop culture, and even the whole world.

But what’s the point of creating the “Sino Ang Napasaya Mo Today?” campaign? The answer is simple, Coca-Cola became part of everyone’s life in terms of occasions, bonding, or even a simple meal with friends or family members. It became part of the lives of every people who shares common thing and that is enjoying a good meal or conversation with Coca-Cola that we always love or should I say make us happy. With the campaign, Coke wanted us to be somewhat like Caloy as ambassador of happiness to others. What are the big or small things we can do to make others happy? That is the core value of the “Sino Ang Napasaya Mo Today?” campaign.

I believe that this commercial of Coca-Cola is effective because it is related to what the content is trying to express. To dissipate the thirst is one of the content that this commercial is trying to express besides that it is exactly for summer. The sound is there, the clear conversation is there and the content is there. Even for just a short time, it is made clear that Coca-Cola can truly dissipate your thirst and can even make your day a open happiness. and I can also say that Coca-Cola will always be Coca-cola forever.
