* Five needs: Physiological Needs, Requirement of Security Needs, Social Needs, Achievement Needs, and Self-actualization needs. * Maslow's theory assumes that people are free to decide their basic needs (physiological) first before their higher needs (self-actualization). Lower needs must be fullfilled before higher needs such as self-realization began to restore the person's behavior. | * Three needs: Existence Needs, Relatedness Needs, and Growth needs. * ERG theory explains that more than one need may take place in the same time. If satisfaction (gratification) retained a high level of need, the urge to meet the needs of the lower level will be increased. | * Three needs: Needs for achievement, Need for power, and need for affiliation. * McClelland assume that motivation is important, but only as an element of the matrix of personality that affect economic development. Other elements such as: self-confidence, forward orientation, competition and risk are elements of motivation. |

Maslow Needs :

1. Physiological Needs. Physiological needs is a hierarchy of human needs which is the most basic requirement for living such as eating, drinking, housing, oxygen, sleep and so on.

2. Requirement of Security. When the physiological needs are relatively satisfied, it appears that the second requirement is the need for security. The need for security is a security includes protection from the dangers of accidents, will guarantee the continuity of his work and would guarantee his old age when they no longer work.

3. Social needs. If the physiological and safety needs have been satisfied to a minimum, it would appear, social needs, the need for companionship, an affiliate fund closer interaction with others. Within the organization will be associated with the need for a working group of a compact, good supervision, recreation together and so on.
