Clear blue water in the beaches, warm weather, and a delicious cuisine. Not many people would want to ask for more in a place they travel to. These are only a few of the attractions that La Paz in Baja California has. La Paz is located north of Cabo San Lucas in the south of Baja California. Cabo San Lucas is known to most Americans as one of the hottest attractions or places to travel in Mexico. Cabo San Lucas is also known to be “Americanized” and does not display the real Mexican culture. But only an hour up north is La Paz. La Paz is not “Americanized” and still displays Mexican culture. La Paz is a city with awesome attractions that not many tourists know about. The water in the ocean is clear, luke warm and contains many exotic fish. Not only is the water warm but so is the weather. And last but not least the cuisine is authentic anywhere in the city. La Paz is a city not many know about that contains various attractions in which many tourists would be interested in.

La Paz’s numerous beaches attract many tourists. La Paz has about seven beaches all within a half hour of each other. The only downfall of the beaches in La Paz is that they are bays. Because all of the beaches are bays they have no waves. No waves at the beach may turn off some tourists but too many it gives them the opportunity to do many other activities at the beach. Some of these activities at the beach include snorkeling and kayaking. Since there are no waves at the beaches one may snorkel out as far as they want. As one snorkels they may come across many exotic fish and other species such as sting rays and eels. This may be scary to some but as long as one does not disturb the sea life they will do no harm. To many tourists seeing a wide variety of exotic fish is awesome. Another activity that tourists may do is kayaking. Since there are no waves kayaking is very popular.
