Reflection to Rizal's Lifeshsrhsrhrh

REFLECTION:

First of all we should clarify the meaning of a hero to make it quite simple to understand how Rizal became one. A hero symbolizes goodness. Rizal gave us freedom by using goodness.

Jose Rizal became the Philippine national hero because he fought for freedom in a silent but powerful way. He expressed his love for the Philippines through his novels, essays and articles rather than through the use of force or aggression.

He was a very amazing person at his time. He was humble, fighting for reforms through his writings instead of through a revolution. He used his intelligence, talents and skills in a more peaceful way rather than the aggressive way.

I learned yesterday after watching the documentary about Jose Rizal that Rizal was just like any of us - An ordinary person. He has been attracted, courted and dumped by some women during his time. He has been neglected many times just like when he won in a contest and did not receive applauses by the people when he was found to be a Filipino. He has disobeyed his parents when he decided to study abroad without their knowledge about it only to find out after the deed.

I could say that from a short time I was studying the Rizal subject I am discovering a lot about Jose Rizal and it amazes me. I thought Rizal would be a very boring subject but I was wrong about it. I have known Jose Rizal as the Philippine national hero only and now that I have come to know him than just that it makes me feel excited to want to discover him more.

Tthe information I have researched about Jose Rizal I could say so far that he deserves to be the Philippine national hero. He was a very intelligent man. He is a many person in one body and that fact distinguished him from the rest.
