Children, by law are required to attend school from kindergarten until completing high school. It’s the parent’s job to fulfill this duty and register every child to abide by this law. Unfortunately, there are some children who do not finish this transition and drop out of school. In this new-aged century it’s almost required to have earned a degree in some field. For those of the children who decided to drop out of school, they are realizing that they should have stayed and continued to further their education. Should children be given the opportunity of choice as to whether or not they want to finish school? No, they shouldn’t, high paying jobs are becoming harder to apply for, earning a GED takes about as much time to receive as returning to school, and education and knowledge is priceless. The more you know, the more you’ll succeed in life. It doesn’t matter what you study, as long as you find something that interests you and make a living out of it.

High paying jobs aren’t looking for someone who doesn’t know what they are doing and that require high maintenance on training. They expect for their newly hired employees to go in and do the job to the best potential of the person, which is also the same potential of the company. If you plan on dropping out of school anytime soon, then you should drop the idea of becoming anything from an Airline Pilot, Engineer, Computer Systems Analyst, a Teacher, and even a Librarian (Resumagic 1). Yes, it hits you like a brick wall, that all the “fun” , “cool”, and “exciting” jobs are ALL looking for a little more effort from their employee. Nobody is going to have pity on a person that claims their life was rough and that they couldn’t finish school. Corporate managers are just going to say “Oh well!” and turn you down and hire the more qualified person. If a child wants to make it in this century and higher their chances of acquiring a high paying job then they need to start thinking about finishing...
