I have a Bachelor of Sciences (BSc) degree in Human Biology, majoring in Human Physiology and Anatomy, from the University of the Witwatersrand. I currently finished studying the Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PDM) at the Wits Business School. I studied BSc after having been denied to do Medicine (MBBCH) at Wits. My options were to either do Chemical Engineering or BSc, and in order to get into Medicine I had to do BSc which I would then divert to medicine when I finish. However after doing BSc I realized medicine was not for me, I was just following what my parents wanted for me. While doing my BSc I used to work at an administration office (NSFAS) and realized how much I enjoy it. Predominantly, I used to enjoy the interaction with the students who came for consultation. It was fulfilling seeing their smiles after receiving my assistance.

I have a very strong heart and I don’t get mad easily. The person I used to work for at NSFAS was said to be difficult to work for however I never saw that. Generally I am a person who enjoys other peoples company, irrespective of their characteristics. Currently, (2012), I have enrolled for the Operational Level qualification with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). The postgraduate diploma in management (PDM) from Wits Business School (WBS) introduced me to accounting and financial subjects and made me realize the love I have for it. Generally, I am a mathematical person hence I enjoy accounting.

Currently I have discovered that I also enjoy Finance as it has a lot of mathematics in it. However, unlike Accounting, Finance is broader and more people oriented. I am currently studying a Master of Management in Finance and Investment (MMFI) degree at Wits Business School. I therefore seek occupation in the Finance Industry
