Week 6 Assignment

Dear Gementrix employees,

We have recently undergone new staffing and restructuring within the organization. I want to recognize the hard work of all the new employees and the embrace of leadership to those with seniority. It has been brought to my attention that there have been civil disputes within the company amongst members in leadership roles that I would like to address with you. I personally believe that we have a top-notch team capable of superior performance and would like to “clear the air” to maximize productivity and ensure a better work environment.

First and foremost I would like to reiterate our company policies and standards of conduct that all employees agreed to at the time of hiring. Furthermore, all employees here are to be treated equally and respected. With that said, I’d like to remind you that the positions and titles are to be respected moving forward. Everyone here has a job to do and is expected to pull their own weight in the workplace. Those that do not will face disciplinary action, any questions or disputes can be brought up to me in sight of the open door policy.

The recent warehouse dispute was unacceptable on both ends. We are faced with challenging times that will take the best effort and professionalism of all members. I personally believe that with support we can overcome these challenges and excel. I have decided to implement code of conduct competition within the facility. Employees will be quarterly reviewed on performance and “good neighbor” attitudes within the workplace. The winner of the competition will be congratulated with catered lunch and a paid day off. Team members at all levels can achieve this thru support of other team member’s recognitions. Furthermore I have also decided to allow the warehouse lead position to schedule appropriate lunch and breaks with approval of the warehouse manager.
