Located in the South Pacific, Kava is an island where you will find a mixture of diversity of various ethnic backgrounds like African, Spanish, French, Chinese, and a small amount of Americans. One of the most notable challenges facing Kava is that over 50% of its population is under 15 years of age. The economy strives on many of the islands natural resources like petroleum, spices, bananas, sugar, fishing, cocoa, coffee, and natural gas. Despite the beautiful island appeal, numerous disasters threaten the island including tidal waves, hurricanes, typhoons, floods, fires, tornadoes, volcanoes, earthquakes, AIDS, flu, and a petroleum spill. All these have been taken into account when making the decision to move to Kava, which in my opinion is more of a liability and risk than an opportunity for advancement.

The Plan Issues on Kava

Despite the natural disasters that plague the island of Kava, my employer believes that our organization should no longer overlook the problems of Kava and develop a strategy to improve and give back to the island. Our company is currently in the process of expanding our production in Kava, which in turn could help us both out. The move to Kava would mean building a facility to allow for labor work, manufacturing and shipping of the products created there. Utilizing local workers and skilled technicians from the States that are willing to move can be transported to a new facility in Kava. The construction would benefit and boost the economy of Kava and also our business. A construction project of this size would last for approximately eight to ten months. Once the facility is completed, the employment of local laborers, trained specialist, and warehouse facility will continue to bring value to the locals. The establishment of this business would bring cheap labor to our business and another avenue of positivity to add to our company name by helping other like Wal-Mart and other companies do to show how they give back to help...
