Subject: Using the wiki-based user manual

Hello Team,

As you all know, there is an increase in demand for the software package that have been recently produced by the company. This product is used by nonprofit organizations and thus, we all need to contribute in the success of its sales. Many customers are finding difficulties using the software and the user's manual can only do so much. This is the reason for my suggestion of using a wiki to communicate with our customers and hear about their ideas of using the software to help in the fundraising campaigns.

Many of you have raised good points of why we should avoid using a wiki and these reasons have been taken into consideration. By using a wiki, not only are we saving costs on printed manuals but we can also get more feedback about the product. The quality and content of the information provided to us by customers would be examined by professionals and this would eliminate any attempt to tamper with the information. It will also be easier for the staff to communicate with each other using the wiki as it is easy to use and saves so much time rather than updating the manual each year. By eliminating the cost of printing the manuals, the extra fund will be used as a raise for all of the employees and management team working on the software as proposed by the manager of the company. I am looking forward to hearing your comments and any issues you may have with this proposal.
