How I from out I had Lymphoma

Hi, my name is Lilly Johnson, im 18 years old a I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Most people don’t know where to start to tell these kind of stories but I know exactly where. I all began the day I began college. At the time I was busy with the normal stuff that come with going off to college. Thing like packing and unpacking, saying good bye to all my friends and ect. I was worries about living on my own and making new friends and just how I would adjust to college life. Going to college is one of those stages in life were you don’t know what to expected, but what happened to me I would have never thought I would get cancer at my age.

When I start I had a cough it wasn’t a really bad but it felt kind of tingly. I didn’t think anything of it, I just blamed it of the paint in my dorm room. I later went down further in my chest but I still ignored it. Then a few weeks later I began to get out of breath going up and down the stairs. This was very strange b/c I was a dancer so I was always pretty fit. Then I thought maybe because I hadn’t really been that active with class and study and of course hanging out with friends. Then soon after that I begin to have night sweats to the point where I was soaked. I thought maybe I just had my heater o too high but that did help All of my symptoms I blamed of being at school.

I finally decided to make an appoint with the campus doctor. Everything seemed to be fine and they just thought it was a infection. But then I told them I had a pain on the side of my rib cage on the right. The nurse put the staph scope to my ribs . The nurse eyes got really big and then said “ let me go get the doctor. Shortly the doctor cam in and did the same. They told they should take a X-ray right away. the X-rays come back and I saw they my mouth dropped because the whole right side I my chest was white. They more test and they told me to come back in 2 weeks .I got a call 4 days later the they told...
