Executive Summary

Gender inequality is still a hot topic in today’s business environment. PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) is on the forefront of battling against gender prejudice. They have set up a global network of initiatives to promote and support women and their talents. Several case studies show that PwC has taken this issue seriously. Both internal and external review shows the effectiveness and efficiency of PwC’s programmes. PriceWaterhouseCoopers is able to attract more women and more of them make it to the top of the company.

Women may outnumber men, they still face numerous hurdles in the business environment. This report elaborates on the efforts of PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) to combat gender inequality in the workplace. PwC is the leading professional services firm, active globally, with an annual revenue of almost 30 billion USD. PwC has a worldwide company policy in place to tackle gender inequality. The report will discuss the overall PwC strategy to tackle this problem and provide a number of case studies.
