This monograph is written to study the various aspects of Carbon Tax in Australia. In this paper there I s a link shown between tax and highly controversial issue change in climate due to pollution. This study was conducted to see the affect of carbon tax on Australian economy an d public. The student has tried to study the impact f carbon tax on various sectors.

The relation between carbon tax and national economy is mainly studied throughout the monograph. It seen what the alternative to carbon emitting fossil fuels available is. It is tried to find out whether carbon tax is actually beneficial to the country or not.

This study is done to find out what is carbon tax? Why it is being implemented and what will be its consequences. Therefore, advocating the carbon tax further study has been conducted to get the answers of said questions.

“Carbon Tax”

“ The Australian carbon tax is a species orphan, the Collins-class submarine of global environmental policy.” It is uncertain for environment, costly, administratively a nightmare and unlike anything else in the universe . Carbon taxes are widely used as a way to reduce carbon emission in atmosphere. Carbon taxes are taxes levied on carbon emitted or released during the inflammation of fossil fuel like coal, it is measure to protect environment.

Carbon tax can be explained in two ways viz. scientifically and economically. Scientifically it is invented to contribute to reduce the ultimate rise in atmospheric CO2. The falling confidence in warning climate models and alternatives natural expiation of the now decelerating global warming make the scientific reason very weak. Economically, it is intended to make fossil fuel energy more expensive and thus favour the development and utilisation of more expensive and renewable substitute energy sources.
