Egypt: Culture, Communication, Business

Culture can be defined as the attrtibutes of a particular group of people, denoted by various aspects like language, religion, customs, traditions etc. Culture in Egypt can be traced back thousands of years to the era of the primeval Pharaohs. Several of these old customs manifest in present times however, modern day Egypt is to a great extent influenced by Arab nations. The following will discuss the different aspects in business communication between Egypt and the United States, including tourist attractions, culture, communication, nonverbal communication, and business practices.

Egypt is one of the oldest civilizations in the world. The wonderful culture and pyramids are still very mysterious for people around the world. Located in North Africa, monuments and pyramids are attractions that many like to see.

There are a lot of pyramids in Egypt. And the most popular pyramids are the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx: “An estimated 20,000 to 30,000 workers built the Pyramids at Giza over 80 years. Giza also has the largest pyramid also known as "Great Pyramid" which rises an amazing 481 feet” (“10 Top Tourist Attractions”). These pyramids are very famous all over the world and many movies were created based on them. Pyramids Giza is also one of the oldest and last surviving members of the Seven Wonders of the World.

Everything seems big in Khan al-Khalili. It is no exception that it is one of the largest markets in the world and it attracts a lot of international tourists. This is a great place to buy souvenirs such as exotic perfume bottles, Arabic clothing and many other cultural things.
