Annotated Bibliography

Meyer, S. C. DNA and the origin of life: Information, specification and explanation, in Darwinism, Design, & Public Education (Michigan State University Press, 2003), Pp. 223-285.

Meyer contends that intelligent design provides a better explanation than competing chemical evolutionary models for the origin of the information present in large bio-macromolecules such as DNA, RNA, and proteins. Meyer shows that the term information as applied to DNA connotes not only improbability or complexity but also specificity of function. He then argues that neither chance nor necessity, nor the combination of the two, can explain the origin of information starting from purely physical-chemical antecedents. Instead, he argues that our knowledge of the causal powers of both natural entities and intelligent agency suggests intelligent design as the best explanation for the origin of the information necessary to build a cell in the first place. The attended audience is everyone that is either a evolutionist, creationist or undecided. This supports my intelligent design explaining the complexity of human cells.

Waltke, Bruce K., 1975-76, "The Creation account in Genesis 1:1-3, Parts I-V," Bibliotheca Sacra v. 132 pp.25-36, 136-144, 216-228, 327-342; v. 133 pp.28-41.

A respected conservative Old Testament theologian at Westminster Seminary, Phila, gives a detailed exegesis of Genesis. He argues that to understand a given passage of scripture, we must understand the world of the people to whom the passage was originally addressed. The attended audience is everyone that is either a evolutionist, creationist or undecided. This supports my biblical belief of how man was created using biblical references.
