Research Proposal Assignment

1 . Developed technology has allowed more advanced society. There are a plenty of notable technological achievements. For example, genetically modified organisms allowed mass production in agriculture with less labor needs. Genetically modified food became an important part of our lives. We can find genetically modified food everywhere, and we consume them every day. Monsanto is the core corporation that produces and develops genetically modified organisms. Monsanto is founded in 1901 by John Francis Queeny, by the 1940s it was a major producer of plastics, including polystyrene and synthetic fibers and it became a leader of producing genetically modified organisms. There are notable achievements by Monsanto, yet there are plenty of influences to the environment. I am going to talk about how Monsanto has affected our lives and the environment in my research paper.

2. How Monsanto’s genetically modified organisms have affected our lives and our environment. I am going to propose that the effects of Monsanto’s genetically modified organisms are potentially detrimental and that negative aspects outweigh the positive outcomes.
