APA Format and Style Checklist (10%)

[ ] Font and spacing: The style should be Times New Roman or Arial and the font size is 12 points. Double Space: The entire document is to be double spaced, which includes the title page, block quotes, tables, and references. (Pocket Guide pp. 35-36) [ ] Margins: The margins are 1” on all four sides. The justification is flush-left style, leaving the right margin ragged. (Pocket Guide p. 36)

  [ ] Paragraphs: The first line of each paragraph is to be indented 5-7 spaces. It is advised not to use one sentence paragraphs. Punctuation: Insert only one space after periods, commas, semi-colons, and colons. (Pocket Guide p. 36)

  [ ] Title Page: The title page is to include the title of the paper, author’s name, course title, and date, which is to be centered on the page. The title page is to be double-spaced.
