Globalisation

Globalisation is the process of international integration arising from the interchange of world views, products, ideas, and other aspects of culture. Globalisation is an umbrella term and is perhaps best understood as a unitary process inclusive of many sub-processes (such as enhanced economic interdependence, increased cultural influence, rapid advances of information technology, and novel governance and geopolitical challenges) that are increasingly binding people and the biosphere more tightly into one global system. In simple terms, it is the process of making closer integration of the countries, along with the people of the world which has been brought about by the reduction of costs of transportation and communication, and the breaking down of artificial barriers to the flow of goods, services, capital and knowledge. The Economic aspect of Globalization has affected the countries the most, but one cannot forget that it is a multi-dimensional approach. Globalization with the revolution of information technology has been dramatically changing human behavior, management of corporations, and governance of states much more than the industrial revolution transformed the agricultural society.
