At Family Conflict 

You know, God, we are not a perfect family. The stresses of our lives cause us to bring each other hurt and pain. This is not the way we choose to live with each other. Yet, all too often, it is how we are living. We ask that you guide us in your Providence back to a better and more loving way. Please help us to bury anger and return to the seed of our love. Please help us to value each other as you value us. Amen. 

At a Time of Family Crisis 

Mary, Queen of the Home, our family is straining. People who ought to be bound in love are pushing one against the other. I think about your family and the problems you faced. I ask for the wisdom to help bring us back together when I can and the strength to hold my tongue when I cannot. I ask that we all remember that we are family and, as you did, live the meaning of those words. Amen. 

Strengthening of Faith for a Family Member 

Dear Lord, faith is not always a constant. We live in such a noisy and troubled world that sometimes we forget what is important. You know that has happened within our family. We ask your help in clearing away some of the distractions so that our loved one can find the simple and quiet path back to you. Amen.

Lord Jesus, be with my family. Grant us Your peace and harmony, an end to conflict and division. Gift us with compassion to better understand each other, wisdom and love to assist each other, and trust and patience to live peacefully together. Grant that through the intercession of your mother, Mary, and St. Joseph, our family may become a holy family accepting each other, working together in unity, selflessly dedicated to one other and to You. Amen.

Almighty God, our heavenly Father, who places solitary persons in families: We commend to your continual care the homes in which your people dwell.
