Supervisor self-evaluation form for Manager Review
Date: 5/7/12
Employee: Jorge Ramirez Present Job Function: Door Supervisor
Major Strengths:
Indicate what you think are your major strengths as an employee. What can be done by you, or your supervisor, to more effectively use your skills and abilities?
I think one of strengths is my people skills; I can take a problem present it clearly to the group and work as a team to resolve it. I do well at prioritizing what jobs are more important and what needs to come first. I do well on always having a plan for multiple situations, especially when our department gets swamped with work.
Notable Accomplishments:
Indicate what you think are notable accomplishments that you have achieved during the past review period.
One of my notable accomplishments is the organization of my department. Material and piece parts are easily located in my area. We would have to scramble everywhere to finds certain needs, such as screws, frames, housings. I have done a better job on our on-time delivery for customers like Jayco.
Areas for Improvement:
Identify areas in which you can improve your performance. Be specific in your description. What do you think you can do to improve? How can your supervisor assist you in achieving these performance goals?
An area where I could improve is keeping a closer eye on inventory. Number in visual are closer than before when it comes to foam, tube and aluminum, but there is still room for improvement. The cosmetics of our department can improve as well.
Future Interests:
Hopefully the door department grows and we can expand with personnel, equipment and tools. Maybe even one day move to another department and learn a new line of work.
