4.0 The Existing System

4.1 Company Background

THUMBS click Digital Imaging is one of the Photo studios in the Municipality of Maasin, The studio was located in Delgado Street, Maasin, Province of Iloilo. It is one of the most well-known photo studios in the said place. The studio was born on the year 1960’s, owned and managed by Mr. Joaquin Latcheca. He named it before as RM FOTOMART videography and photography located in the Public Market of Maasin Iloilo, the studio has twenty (20) employees and most of them are members of the family. They spent two million pesos (2,000,000.00) for the establishment and for their gadgets.

Thumbsclick Digital Imaging is composed of four (4) competent employees Mr. Samuel Gurado as videographer, Ms. Jubelyn Manuel as photographer, Mrs. Florinda Montarro as the artist, Ms. Kimberly Delgado as secretary and Mrs. Marie Elaine Latcheca wife of Mr. Joefrey Harnel Latcheca is the Cashier and the Manager. Mrs. Elaine Latcheca is currently managing their business as his husband Mr. Joefrey Harnel Latcheca is working outside the country.

What separates this business from the competitors? Is the system place that ensures high quality services accurate results and a structured business process, however for the latter the the rental and reservation processes need to be strengthened to ensure such differentiation.

Therefore, a project is undertaken to address the need of Thumbsclick Digital Imaging especially on their rental reservation processes

4.2 Description of the System

Thumbsclick Digital Imaging current rental and reservation form is manual the secretary is the one who gathered all information and then write it down on their logbook together with the services information then it will be forwarded to the cashier after discussions of the customer and the secretary about the customers desired services.
