1.0 Background

Nestle, a Swiss successful global company, which was hound in 1866. It is the top brand of global food industry. Its products include baby foods, chocolate and confectionery, breakfast cereals, dairy products, ice cream, sports nutrition, bottled water, weight management, healthcare nutrition, chilled and frozen food, culinary, food service, pet care and so on. As the sub-brand of Nestle, Nescafe was launched in 1938 which includes all the instant coffee products. After cooperation with Brazilian government, Nescafe used 7 years to create the instant coffee for solving the overproduction of Brazilian coffee beans. Since World War Two, this Nescafe became more and more famous for its high quality and convenient. Nowadays, Nescafe is already the top brand of instant coffee in the world and it has produced a coffee machine which can help Nescafe to expand their influence into the coffee market.

As one of the world's three major beverages, coffee has a long history since it was found one thousand years ago. After coffee companies extended this magical drink worldwide, more and more fans enjoy the time of drinking coffee. Actually, there isn’t any big political problem about coffee products all over the world.

One trend is that with the improvement of people's health consciousness and the development of high technology, more and more harmful substances can be found in the food and beverage. For Nescafe, the top brand of instant coffee, it just needs to make sure that the quality of coffee products is meeting all the standard laws of local government. And in the unstable world, government stability in new emerging economies is another political risk of doing business.
