1. Getting too emotionally attached. Don’t put too much effort and energy in it. In your business you need to see if you can step outside of it and have an objective. If something not working, we should willing to stop.

2. People are very focus on one side of their business. Any successful business should have these 3 areas. Feasibility sides, channel for letting people know you exist/people interested in your stuff. Conversion side, getting people actually landing page, phsyocology, persuasion. Repeat business side, providing a good enough experience for people and doing effective follow up marketing so people want to come back and do business with you again.

3. Getting to hung up on the market. I don’t know what to sell, and they never picking products to sell. Don’t spend 3 months to decide. Plan effectively and then pick something and move with it. Don’t spend to much on analyzing.

They entered business plan contest to get capital. And you can learn a lot from that contest. Hearing good feedback don’t progress you. They also refine their business so when they finished the business plan contest they able to raise money. If you’re small business don’t go to venture capital. It gives you a lot money but also give aggressive terms. Reach individuals or angel investors to get capital for your business. Finding angel capital wasn’t difficult, you don’t need to be wealthy, you just need to search engine or go to website (thefunded.com). 2 advice if you do go out and raise money, get a good lawyer, get a good account, make sure you incorporate properly and make sure you have good legal support.

Fundamentally business is about change. Don’t think that what worked yesterday, will work tomorrow. The more flexible you are and how faster economy moves the more successful you will be.
