Hasbro Inc. is a worldwide leader in the design, development, marketing and distribution of toys, games and lifestyle gifts. Classic brands include Action Man, Monopoly, Furby and Poochi together with an exciting range of hot licences such as Tweenies, Basil Brush and Bill and Ben toname but a few.

Hasbro’s target is to be seen as the leading provider of play and fun the world over. Today, Hasbro’s emphasis is to develop its great brands and provide, safe, quality and innovative products for all style of play – outdoor play, creative play, fantasy play, game play and so on.

There are many aspects which help Hasbro Inc. to set goals like these and to reach all of them in future. But today we will pay attention to the one of them, it is a job satisfaction of employees. It is not like to make a product, and during all this process to be under pressure. Workers should realize what they actually do, and for what. They should not think about these actions, like, to earn money for their bosses and for “fat cats”, they have to realize that they do it for new generation, and by doing these games they make thousand of people happy. Well, we will discuss this issue about job satisfaction with a tale of two positions.

In one hand, Belonger, who is 32 year veteran of Hasbro’s East Langmeadow Plant, and on the other hand, Rob Daviau, the 40 year old designer of Hasbro.

Belanger takes pride in the fact that the Longmeadow plant manufactures Hasbro productions in USA, given that most of the company’s games are made in South China. “I love just having a job!” she notes, adding, “ I love being part of this”. That means she satisfied with her job, neither payment nor promotion, just work itself.
